CLERK’S REPORT – April 2006
The Stated Clerk of the Synod of the Sun
proposes the following motions as part of her report to the
Stated Meeting of the Synod of the Sun, April 2006:
- That the Synod of the Sun authorize
the celebration of the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper at
Synod-sponsored events from June1, 2006, through May 31,
2007, including, but not limited to
Synod meetings,
Events at Mo
Ranch,
Synod Youth
Workshop, and
Women’s
gatherings.
College chaplains
and campus ministers working in programs that have a
relationship with the Synod are also authorized to celebrate the
Sacrament.

- That the Synod of the Sun approve a
proposed Alternate Methods of Determining Competency
approved by Tres Rios Presbytery. (see 14.0313b).
- That the Synod receive the report on
the review of the Synod’s 2005 minutes.

- That the Synod approved the review of
minutes of the presbyteries.
